Three medals to young Lithuanian draughts players

 

For the first time in history Lithuania won three medals in a European Youth Draughts competition, 100 squares. All medals were welcomed with a big round of applause. Rita Packauskaite won a bronze medal in her category, Cadets Girls 13-16 years old. The other two prices were won in the youngest competition. Leonardas Gudynas won the third price in the group European Hopes Boys under 10 years old. The biggest applause went to the talented Aiste Pukstaite, winner of the silver medal European Hopes Girls. Keep an eye on these talented draughts players.

The next two days, the 20th European Youth Championship Draughts 100 will continue with competitions Rapid and Blitz. More chances to win more medals. Lithuania, as the host of this championship, is in the winning mood.
